Nestled in Chalk Hill, between Healdsburg and Knights Valley, this contemporary farmhouse was designed for a developer as a private retreat in one of wine country’s most picturesque regions. The design is a careful blend of contemporary elements and a rustic soul, leveraging the home’s open floor plan to blur the line between indoors and out, where the outdoor kitchen and dining areas, pool and firepit encourage outdoor living.
Inside, the great room’s soaring volume and neutral palette provide a serene backdrop for the site’s natural beauty, promoting a feeling of casual luxury. Keeping the finishes clean and simple allowed the architecture to speak for itself, keeping the focus of the home squarely on the panoramic views just outside the windows.
