Every year, in early August, I begin to sense the quiet arrival of fall. Softer mornings and brighter sunsets remind me that another season is preparing to unfold. While spring encourages us to begin, fall offers us an opportunity to pause, reflect, and recognize what has grown.

We spend so much time chasing each day, constantly carried off by what’s next. But in all its seasonal abundance, harvest comes as nature begins to slow down. As designers, we're trained to look closely. Before we begin drawing plans or selecting materials, we observe. We sit with a space. We watch how light moves through a room. We listen to how our clients live, what they value, and what they hope their home will become. The best design rarely comes from rushing toward an answer. It comes from making room for discovery. I've realized that the same is true for relationships.

Our work is so collaborative. A creative vision becomes complete only once our various talents come together. Every project is shaped by the trust of our clients, the craftsmanship of our partners, and the creativity of our designers. The quality of our relationships brings not only success, but joy. So for me, keeping my circle true is time well spent.
